Runners from 25 Cities Welcomed by Raipur Amid Energetic Cheer from Youth Icon Rannvijay

Raipur: On Sunday morning, the streets of Raipur transformed into a vibrant celebration of fitness and sporting spirit as thousands of participants came together for the SK Raipur Marathon 2026. Organized by Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha and the Indian Institute of Event Management (IIEMR), in association with SK Finance and South Eastern Coalfield, the event infused the city with energy, discipline, and enthusiasm. Beginning as early as 4:00 AM, more than 10,000 runners from 25 cities participated across multiple race categories, making it a grand sporting spectacle.

The marathon was officially flagged off by Chhattisgarh Police IG Badrinarayan Meena, Income Tax Commissioner Shravan Meena, along with youth icon Rannvijay, whose presence added excitement to the event. The occasion was also attended by IIEMR Director Mukesh Mishra and SK Finance National Business Head Prashant Choure. A major highlight of the event was Rannvijay’s enthusiastic cheering, which encouraged and motivated runners throughout the race.

Speaking on the occasion, SK Finance National Business Head Prashant Choure said: “Events like the SK Raipur Marathon go beyond sports, they inspire society toward fitness, discipline, and awareness. Jaipur, February 6, 2026 – The 5th edition of PinkFest, a culture design festival dedicated to the historical and cultural richness of the Pink City, Jaipur, commenced grandly at the Rajasthan International Centre (RIC). The first day witnessed a unique confluence of art, music, literature, and dialogue, with distinguished artists, writers, and speakers from across the country and abroad participating. The festival showcased the beauty of imagination through paintings, insightful discussions on various aspects of art and culture, theatrical performances, cultural walk and melodious musical presentations, captivating the audience. Event is supported by Ruvi Digital, Kalaneri Academy of Fine Arts, State Bank of India, FORTI, Indian Institute of Crafts and Design, IIS University, ARCH, Suresh Gyan Vihar University, JECRC University, etc.

Under the curation of renowned artist Dharmendra Rathore, the festival is exhibiting over 400 paintings by 100 international and national artists. These paintings beautifully encapsulate the essence of Rajasthan’s art, culture, and heritage. The exhibition features renowned artists from Brazil, Norway, Australia, and England, along with Indian artists such as  Padma Shri Shyam Sharma,  Adela, Pares, Netaliya, Rusia, Rinku Debdas, Manoj dharekar, Ramesh Bhosle, Smarati Joshi, Kp Singh Gwalior sona Jamal, Kishore Sing,  Sridhar Iyer, Mukesh Salvi, R.B. Jaipur: Pinkfest 2026, envisioned as a vibrant confluence of Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage and global art forms, will be held from 6 to 8 February 2026 at the Rajasthan International Centre. This three-day cultural festival will serve as a dynamic platform where tradition and modernity engage in meaningful dialogue through art, literature and performing arts.

Renowned artists, writers, thinkers and culture enthusiasts from India and abroad will participate in Pinkfest. More than 300 national and international institutions will present art installations and paintings, making the exhibition a major attraction for visitors. Works by artists from Russia, Belgium, Australia and the United States will lend the festival a strong international character.

Speaking about the vision of the festival, organiser Satyajit Talukdar said,

“Art and culture are the soul of society, and Pinkfest is a medium to give expression to that soul. Our endeavour is to reconnect the younger generation with their roots while opening new pathways for creativity. In this cultural spirit, the poster of Pinkfest 2026 was unveiled by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, highlighting the festival’s national and international significance.”

Three Special Days for Art and Literature Lovers

The three-day festival will feature more than 150 speakers and include art dialogues, literary discussions, theatre workshops, open mic sessions, classical music and dance performances, and special sessions on films in the Rajasthani language.

The first day will include art exhibitions, art dialogues and book launches, the Tana–Bana Culture Walk, Srishti Mandapam (Pavilion of Cosmos), design exhibitions, design academic sessions and workshops, open mic live sessions and a Picasso exhibition.

Performing arts will feature cultural presentations and the staging of the play “Do Akeli”.

On the literary platform, sessions will be held on the impact of social media on art and artists, classical dance presentations and workshop “Nrityaman – The Joy of Dance”, and a poetry session titled “Safarnama” by the Majlis group.

The Authors’ Corner will host book launches and book reviews.

7 February 2026 (Saturday)

The second day will continue with art exhibitions, literary dialogues and book launches, Srishti Mandapam, design exhibitions, design academic sessions and workshops, open mic live sessions and the Picasso exhibition.

Performing arts will include the poetry recital “Dhai Akhar Prem Ke”, film screenings, a discussion on “Bataan Rajasthani Cinema Ki”, and the book reading and dialogue session “Shabd Sansar”.

On the literary stage, sessions such as “Bharat Bodh”, the classical Kathak performance “Padanyas”, and the book launch and review of “Sitayan” will be organised.

The Authors’ Corner will host book launches, book reviews and a curated show titled “Shringar – The Rasa of Beauty.”

8 February 2026 (Sunday)

On the concluding day, art exhibitions, art dialogues and book launches, Srishti Mandapam, design exhibitions, design academic sessions and workshops, open mic live sessions and the Picasso exhibition will continue.

Performing arts will feature literature panels (Panel 1, 2 and 3), a Rajasthani language session titled “Hello Mayad Bhasha Ro”, a children’s theatre workshop “Natyanubhav”, and the play “Ajab Chor Ki Gajab Kahani.”

The literary platform will host sessions such as “Hauslon Ki Udaan” (interaction with IAS aspirants), “Jeevan Ke Rang Yog Ke Sang”, “Jaipur Se Atmasmaran”, and “Main Shayar To Nahin.”

Eminent Artists Whose Paintings Will Be a Major Attraction

Works by Padma Shri Thota Vaikuntam, Padma Shri Shyam Sunder Sharma, Padma Shri Advait Ganannayak, Lalu Prasad Shaw, Gogi Saroj Pal, Laxman Aelay, Neeraj Goswami and Dharmendra Rathore, along with several renowned artists from India and abroad, will be displayed.

Pinkfest 2026 aims to create new benchmarks for Indian cultural expression and provide a strong platform for young creative talents. Along with established artists, the festival seeks to give emerging artists national and international exposure.

Prominent personalities from the fields of art, literature and culture will grace this international festival, including Bharat Gupta (Vice Chairman, National School of Drama), Padma Shri awardee senior painter Shyam Sunder Sharma, Ramesh C. Gaur (Dean-Director, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts), writers Narmada Prasad Upadhyay and Prashant Mishra, renowned producer-director K. Bapaiah (Kasi Bokadia), former Director of the National Gallery of Modern Art Rajeev Lochan, eminent Odissi dancer Dr. Rila Hota, and Professor Himadri Ghosh, along with many other distinguished artists and cultural thinkers from India and abroad.
