Malvi Malhotra’s Debut Poetry Book ‘Alfaaz Sitaaron Jaise’ Sells Over 3000 Copies, Inspired By Javed Akhtar

Bollywood actress Malvi Malhotra has added another feather to her cap by turning author with her debut poetry book ‘Alfaaz Sitaaron Jaise’, which has already sold over 3000 copies in record time. Known for her impactful performances on screen, Malvi is now winning hearts as a poet, showcasing her deep love for literature and ghazals.

Malvi, who has always looked up to legendary lyricist Javed Akhtar for inspiration, shared her excitement about her book’s success. A recent video going viral on social media shows Malvi’s book placed right next to Javed Akhtar’s book in a store, marking a special milestone in her literary journey.

Talking about the release and overwhelming response, Malvi said,

“I had written this book back in 2020, but it finally got published now through Raj Kamal Publications. It was launched on 6th February during the World Book Fair in Delhi with a proper event. By God’s grace, it went really well and now the book is being sold through various platforms.”

She added,

“Currently, the Online Book Fair is going on, and they are offering a special discount on my book. More than 3000 copies have already been sold. The book contains over 105 poetries in Hindi and Urdu, mainly ghazals. All the ghazals are lyrical and can be sung as songs too. I am so happy that people are giving great reviews and loving it.”

For Malvi, seeing her book placed beside that of Javed Akhtar is a dream come true. She expressed,

“I have always admired Javed Akhtar Ji. To see my book placed next to his is an incredibly special feeling. I am grateful to everyone who has supported me in this journey.”
